Taj Exotica: Getting There

There are a number of options when travelling from the UK to Male and there are a number of well known tour operators who offer direct flights from Gatwick or Manchester.

In addition, Airlines such as Emirates, Sri Lankan & Qatar offer services from the UK but these usually mean a change at Dubai, Colombo or Doha.

These flights offer a higher standard of travel but at the expense of that dreaded stopover which can be annoying to some travellers.

Once you have arrived at Male airport you have the next leg which is the transfer to Taj. Luckily the resort is only a 20 minute speedboat journey from the airport but you need to be aware that the Maldivians may give the impression of organised chaos when getting you through the airport to your transfer. Please bear with them and spare a thought for your fellow guests that may have a 4 hour boat journey ahead of them.
